**Please note: This course is for qualified Nail Technicians wanting to add silk wrap nails to their skills list or improve their application techniques.
You will be required to provide a copy of your nail qualification.
If you have previously trained in Silk Wrap Nail Extensions but feel that you dont have the skills to confidently offer high quality services to your clients, or you are a qualified nail tech wanting to offer Silk Wraps then this is the course for you.
Because of the explosion in allergic reactions to HEMA based nail products, silk nails are having a revival, as they do not contain any HEMA so can offer a safer alternative for those clients who have sensitivities.
Learn how to apply, finish and maintain silk wraps, and the benefits of adding silk wraps to your services. Suitable for absolute silk virgins or as a trouble shooting workshop for those already qualified, the course content is completely led by you and what you need!
Taught by Elaine Moore, a Nail Tech for over 30 years, Educator for over 16 years, Multi Award winning nail tech and Competition Judge, and Founder of Aces & Dolls Professional Nail Products. I will pass on whatever knowledge I have, and the course is not product biased, you can use whatever products you usually use.
On this course you will learn:
Correct prep work
Silk wrap application on natural nails and tips
Repairing splits and tears
Reinforcing weak nails and creating structure
Finishing and refining techniques
There is no kit included in the course price. Students are welcome to bring their own products, or Aces & Dolls products are available to purchase on the day. Products needed:

No models are required for the course as we will be working on your own non dominant hand. Flexifinger Training fingers (or similar training hand) can also be used but you will gain more benefit from working on your real nails.
The course runs 9.30-1.30pm (approx). Deposits or full payment can be paid on the website, but places must be booked in advance.
